Flood Risk May Continue To Be Present In The South Due To Francine's Remnants. Francine only dealt a partial damage to areas of South Texas. Up to 7.44 inches of rain fell in certain areas of Brownsville, Texas, causing roadway flooding.


There was some minor coastal flooding on the coast of South Texas. For at least one high tide cycle, the primary road leading south of South Padre Island to the Starbase Spaceport was submerged under water.
